I have some delicious events planned for the coming year! The first will be:
SUNDAY YOGA CIRCLE: Harvesting Gratitude
An evening of rest and reflection inspired by the seasonal celebrations which at this time of year is the First Fruits or Harvest. It’s is a time to feel into the energy of abundance and gratitude and celebrate what we have. If you are interested in coming along this Sunday Email me, or contact me on 021 524 959.
Celebrating the Seasons for 2018: Sunday Yoga Circles
Sunday Yoga Circles will be an opportunity for you to attend a gentle yoga ritual using poetry, nourishing movements and resting postures as a way to reflect and perhaps share with others your wishes and intentions for each season. By tuning into the natural rhythms and energies of the seasonal shift we recognise that there are times of growth, light and abundance, as well as decay, shadow times and loss. Welcoming all of these aspects of being human can be a powerful way to acknowledge and respond perfectly to whatever situation we are in and manifest the life we want to live.
The investment will be $25 per event and I’ll advertise each one of these closer to the time but here are the dates:
Late Summer – Sunday 11th February, 6.30-8.30pm
Autumn Equinox – Sunday 18th March, 6.30-8.30pm
End of the Harvest – Sunday 29th April, 6.30-8.30pm
Winter Solstice – A Weekend event – 22nd-24th June – The Yoga Sutras
Early Spring – Sunday 29th July, 6.30-8.30pm
Spring Equinox – Sunday 23rd September, 6.30-8.30pm
Beginning of Summer – Sunday 28th October, 6.30-8.30pm
Summer Solstice – Friday 21st December
Finding Stillness – Exploring the Yoga Sutras
The workshop will take place over the Winter Solstice weekend – 22nd-24th June. It’s the perfect opportunity and time of year to feel into the pause. There will be some sanskrit chanting and discussions that will break the aphorisms down into a clear and relevant interpretation so you can apply the theory into your own practice. This workshop will be relevant to any yogi, no matter what style you practice as it isn’t so much about techniques and postures but rather the underlying foundations that motivate and guide the practice. Details for this will be coming out soon.
